Our lives are shaped by the memories of time shared with family and friends. These precious memories are worth collecting for the benefit of ourselves, family and friends. As we age, we are all vulnerable to losing precious memories. Keep those memories safe by moving them from the hard drive between your ears to the Cloud.

People’s feeds are cluttered with ads, trivial latte art posts, AI pushed news, memes, and posts from people we barely know. My Stories Matter is different. We focus on helping people preserve and share their important stories and memories with family and close friends. No ads, no news. My Stories Matter is designed by Baby Boomers for Baby Boomers, not by Millennials for Millennials.

We know and understand that your memories and stories are priceless. We want to make sure you never lose them. My Stories Matter runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) which is the most reliable and widely-used web services platform on the planet. We use AWS to maintain comprehensive backups of all memories, comments, photos, and other content you may create or upload just in case something goes awry.

Your memories will only be viewable by those specific My Stories Matter members to whom you have expressly given individual viewing permission. Even better, this high degree of sharing control can be set on a memory by memory basis. You can also custom create your own private circles of family and friends. All memories are encrypted so that not even My Stories Matter employees can view them. We’re very proud of our privacy settings. They’re the strongest and most comprehensive you’ll find anywhere in social media. In fact, it’s one of our most important and defining features.

Yes you can. We understand that you’ve spent a lot of time recollecting and recording your memories. You may also have had family and friends spend time contributing and collaborating to complete your stories and recollections. To protect all that heartfelt effort, we ensure that you have the ability to access and download your memories at any time.

A MindPop is when a memory suddenly pops into your mind.

Use My Stories Matter's MindPop feature to quickly capture those inklings of memories so you can flesh out the full memory later.
